Dr. Neeta Goli:
Welcome, and thanks for listening. This is Newborn News, an educational podcast for medical professionals who care for newborn patients. I'm your host, Dr. Neeta Goli, a pediatrician and assistant professor in the UT Southwestern Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. I work as a hospitalist in the nursery at UT Southwestern Clements Hospital and Parkland Hospital. I work closely with trainees, including pediatric residents, family medicine residents, and third-year medical students.
I'm making this podcast because I know that there's a lot to learn when taking care of newborns. Days on service can be busy with patient care, including rounding and attending deliveries. In listening to this podcast, you'll be able to access educational material at your convenience and at your own pace. I hope that you'll gain knowledge that will prepare you to confidently care for your patients. The Newborn News Podcast is meant to be educational and should not be used in lieu of medical advice.
